Tailleur et talons

Yesterday I spent the whole day digging through my grandma's closet to find something to wear for this birthday party I had to go to. I do that every time I don't have anything good enough to wear. Grandma is a life saver and I'm so lucky that she has stored her clothes through these years instead of throwing them away, just like I constantly do..
I love old clothing, I love their smell and especially the moment when you find something in their pockets, priceless.

Retro

My best-friend's parents were abroad for holidays this weekend so she invited in me for a sleepover. We took the opportunity to wear her mom's clothes, or even her dad's.. We felt like we were 6 years old again, wearing mommy's clothes, jewels or make-up secretly. Not that secretly though, I'm sure she will see this post sooner or later!

Playing dress-up game is fun, especially when you are wearing clothes of the last decade. Luckily we found some '80 and '90 dresses she has been saving up these past years.

V-day

Given the fact yesterday was Valentine's day, I lit this candle and left it burn all night long.
That's an old tradition, you have to light a candle for eternal love and I guess I felt superstitious.
I've never really liked Valentine's day, there's no point in celebrating once in a year this so-called lover's day, exchange presents and so.. If you already have a partner, you must do that every single day.
However, this time I followed the crowd, just for a change!

Heartagram day

For all "HIM" lovers, today is the official heartagram day.. One more reason to celebrate. However, since it was saturday and we were all free, we went out in a restaurant to grab some lunch. On our way to get there, we had several stops so that we could snap these photos.

Today I was wearing for the first time my DIY peacock clutch.. If you want to see the step by step tutorial, click HERE.

Proud as a peacock

For a long time I've been carrying the design of this clutch in my head and I finally managed to find some time to make it. I had this banana colored, faux leather fabric left, and I wanted to make something out of it. I got inspired, gathered my tools, started from work and this is what came out.
I'm not sure why I chose a peacock theme, I guess I just wanted to bring out some color and make it somehow colorful.
The following photos are a step by step tutorial!
