Capitale de Noël

As you may know (or you may not), Strasbourg is the Capital of Christmas
Well, there's finally something on the bright side of  "Not going home for Christmas".
I know it's sad (I'm not a heartless person) but mom is coming for a visit so Strasbourg will feel like home for a while. :) Remember, home is wherever mom is.
Anyway, if you're following me on Instagram, you would know that like two days ago, 11/29 to be more precise, the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony took place and the 443rd Marché de Noël started.
I took some pictures today to share with you my pre-Christmas-ish winter days.. Don't judge, it was so crowded and that's the best I could do.

1 year TPB

One year ago, I would post my very first blogpost, totally unaware I was creating so a virtual spot where I would post my thoughts, ideas, desires and things I like and love.
After one whole year, I'm really satisfied with my TPB's progress. This blog came out of nowhere, totally par hasard, but now it's like family to me :)
So yeah, I woke up this morning and had Breakfast at Pomegranates. I even made a heart shaped cake out of crepes and blew a candle, wishing lots of other happy years to come to my sweet pome!

Mild winter days in Stras

Sunny days are getting rare in Strasbourg, and they're instead replaced by windy, cold and rainy ones, sometimes all together in one. So when you wake up on sunny day and it's Saturday, there's no way you're spending it inside the house.
I totally ignored the wind and the low temperatures, as long as the sky was clear and the sun was shining above us!
And yay, Christmas decorations are coming :)
