Tie dye and ombre shirt | DIY

I've always wanted to make one of these but I feared the possible failure, and after seeing several tutorials on youtube I finally found myself ready for that.. Lol!
Thanks god they look pretty much as I expected and it wasn't as hard as I though it would be.
So you can try to make your own if you want to, just follow these steps :)

Before you even start you should dip your T-shirt in a bowl with water and soda ash, and leave it there for a few hours. It will make your colors live longer and maintain them more vivid.
Then you can start from dyeing. The first T-shirt I'm making it's the ombre one. I chose the green color as it goes with my hair :) Anyway, all you'll be needing is a bowl, a spoon, your dye (I used eggs dye), vinegar and your plain white Tee.
Once you mix your die with the water, you'll have to add a spoon of vinegar. It's in the prescription anyway.
For an ombre effect you'll have to dip first in your bowl only 2/3 of your tee. Then, after a few minutes you'll have to dip just 1/3 of it.
And then, just let it dry out :)
So that's basically it. If you want a loose t-shirt, you can start by cutting it's edges.. I don't know about you, but I'm totally going for that!
For the second tee, the tie dye one, I'll be needing more colors (I used green, red, orange, yellow and blue), a needleless syringe, elastics, gloves and of course the plain white t-shirt..

Pick an initial point and spin the entire tee around that point.
Once you reach this shape, wrap the whole thing with elastics.
Then use the needleless syringe to spray the paint over your tee.

Only after you've done the same thing with the other side, you can put it in the sun to dry out.
After a few hours, unwrap it and let the tee in the sun, until it's completely dry.

Et voilĂ !

Thanks for reading..

  3. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was curious what all
is required to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours
would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very internet savvy so I'm not 100%
certain. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks
